My name is Alison Sommer (formerly Alison Campion). I have broad range on interests and experiences that I sturggle to share with this world via this site.

I have had many titles in life, from hockey player, to geek, to cellist, but two of my most important titles are wife and mother. I am married to the wonderful Ethan Sommer and together we have an amazing daughter, Kaylee.

I am also a person deeply interested in education and the arts. I am a graduate of Carleton College with a degree in Asian Studies with a focus on modern China. I currently work as the Academic Information Associate for Languages and Fine Arts at Macalester College.
